The world’s most visited city
“When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”, the famous writer Samuel Johnson said and he is surely right, who can ever be tired of London? This British crown jewel, whose seal is diversity, is one of the world’s largest and most visited cities, with 15 million foreign visitors per year. There are over eight million Londoners on an area of 1,570 sq km and inside the city limits there are no less than 300 languages spoken.
London called the world capital of culture, and in this cosmopolitan you will find virtually everything – everything in the way of food, shopping, nationalities, musicals, concerts, pubs, clubs, poor and rich. The town is ideal for conferences, there is no limit in what you can see and experience, there a thousands of hotels and many excursions to make. The most important “sightseeing” includes a visit to the Houses of Parliament and the famous Big Ben clock tower. Other “must see” is the London Bridge and nearby Tower of London with its colorful ‘Beefeaters’, British Museum, Princess Diana’s Memorial and Madame Tussauds. Moreover, London has some of the finest and largest parks in the world, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens is located in the city center, but Hampstead Heath and Kew Gardens are also worth visiting- here you will experience tranquility in the midst of the hectic city.
